Hip Hop, Funk, Jazz, Gospel, R&B, and Soul can be found in the sounds of Jeff Gibbs Quartet. The band has opened for Grammy Award winning artist Robert Glasper and have performed at various venues such as The House of Blues, Double Door, The Shrine and Subterranean. And any time you have a live band with a Hip Hop soul fusion… it’s an experience not to be missed.
Gibbs Quartet were the headlining act at Reggies Rock Club recently and had a packed out house! The room was filled with attendees, family, friends, and good vibes! Good food, good drinks, and awesome music brings it all together. The evening was hosted by Chicago hometown comedian T. Murph.
Gibbs and his band take the stage, performing renditions of the people’s favorite Hip Hop classics. In true Chicago fashion, Gibbs paid homage to Kanye West, playing “Flashing Lights” and Jay Z and West collab “No Church In The Wild.” People in the crowd sang along and danced, as the band kept the jams coming. Check out some cool sounds from the band below.
