Hey guys! I’m back for the spring semester! I hope you all had a wonderful break and are adjusting into this new semester smoothly.
Last semester, it came as a shock to most people that I have never seen the hit ‘90’s show, Friends. I didn’t understand what all the hype was about. After getting constant confused looks from several people when they realized I have never seen the show, I decided to give it a chance. To no surprise, I was addicted and finished the entire series this past winter break. With all the laughs, tears, and lessons, this show still airs late at night being an all-time favorite.
When rumor started spreading that there will be a Friends reunion, several people went ecstatic. With high hopes, I was anticipating this reunion more than ever, but sadly it’s not the reunion we were hoping it to be.
The “reunion” we have all been hoping for is not what it seems like.
When Matthew Perry confirmed he was unable to attend the reunion on The Graham Norton Show, he further explained this was not the reunion everyone is expecting.
“It’s not the reunion everyone is hoping for- they are celebrating Jim Burrows who was a director of Friends…The other five are going to be on this special and I am going to introduce them from London. I’m doing the play here so I can’t be there.”
Although this was not the reunion we were all expecting, seeing a majority of the cast together again will be sure to bring back memories.
Be sure to tune into this two-hour special! It is scheduled to air on NBC on Sunday, February 21.
Till next time,
